Youth Bible Quizzing:

The Gospel

of Matthew

Join 6th to 12th grade students from this local area and all over the world in an in-depth study of the Gospel of Matthew, the first book in the New Testament, earning points for individual achievement in reading comprehension, study skills, and memorization and competing in teams of 2-5 with youth all over Southern California and beyond in Saturday quiz meets. Though competition in the meets is optional, many will find that jump quizzing is a fun, fast paced game involving teamwork and electronic buzzers that teaches you to think on your feet and gives you opportunities to learn a lot of new things and make new friends.

New This Year: Flipped Instruction

Youth quizzing practice will meet as a class for youth with Pastor Michael after Sunday Service at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hemet at 11:00 am (after our 9:30 am worship service). However, all of the weekly quizzing materials and instruction will also be accessible online for anyone who has a computer to participate fully at home via Google Classroom. This will permit students to keep up with a competitive pace of study if they are unable to attend class for any reason, or even if they simply prefer to get most of their work done at their own pace at home so we can focus on the fun part of quizzing on Sunday mornings.

Children's Bible Quizzing engages students of elementary school age with an introduction to the biblical story and Bible study skills through age-appropriate materials, weekly quiz practices, and an opportunity to compete in competitive quiz meets about once a month.
