"Connecting individuals and congregations through transformational faith" has been the life-long mission for Pastor Jim Dorsey.
From his very first ministry assignment, Jim has led in initiating and increasing the faith of individuals and congregations. Through innovative approaches and the best practices of other effective non-profits, Jim communicates to other leaders and organizations workable approaches to extend their organizational and personal impact, through seminars, conferences and seven books he has either written or co-authored.
After his extensive travel and writing as Editor of GROW Magazine at the Global Ministry Center for ten years, Pastor Jim continues to provide consultations to other church and non-profit leaders for relevant programming and effective ministry approaches. Jim has also served as the evangelism director in two different national denominational headquarters, helping oversee the launching of 2,000 new churches and compassionate ministry centers in the USA, Canada and the British Isles.
Across his ministry, he has helped raise over $50 million dollars for a wide range of non-profit organizations including new congregations, compassionate ministries, denominational programming, church schools and colleges through a variety of capital campaigns.
Jim and his wife, Rhonda now live in southern California near their two adult daughters and assist in responsibilities with the Southern California District Church of the Nazarene. He has founded a non-profit ministry called Family Faith, Inc. to continue to provide local church consultations and limited speaking opportunities for leadership training in best practices for effective evangelism outreach and community impact.
